Continuing Professional Development
Stay current
Stay credible
ATAINZ members complete ongoing professional development each year, keeping them ahead of tax law changes and equipped to give the best advice.
Our CPD programme includes regional workshops, the Members Only Education Library, video presentations, and structured guidance for meeting your annual requirements.
Learning that works
for your practice
Your CPD can include training courses, webinars, certifications, regional meetings, conferences and workshops.
Learning is not limited to events organised by ATAINZ, or to accounting and tax topics.
Choose activities that contribute meaningfully to your professional development and the work you do.
Different ways
to develop
The CPD guidelines recognise both structured and unstructured activities. Formal learning may include a course or industry webinar, while reading technical and professional articles contributes to informal learning.
Activities outside the accounting profession that help you grow as an individual may also be eligible, within the limits set out in the guidelines.
Keep your learning in one place
Members can use the Radar online learning platform to access training resources and maintain their CPD record. CPD is measured over the calendar year, from 1 January to 31 December, with the annual declaration submitted through Radar by 31 March of the following year.
Keep a record of the activities you complete and evidence of attendance, as CPD records may be selected for audit.
